Sorry I did not make it by to visit this weekend. I ended up doing homework Friday (all day) and Saturday night. I really have a lot to do right now with finals coming up soon.
I did make it to Adriane’s Saturday. We went and ate lunch and visited for a while, then I came home and hit the books again. Today we met Adriane again for church, then we went to Wal~Mart for some shopping. I have not done anything else today. Well, I have my laundry going, but I haven’t cleaned house yet.
It will be a crazy week. I am supposed to go to a teacher’s conference on Friday that is supposed to last all day (8AM-4PM). I am thinking I will probably not be able to go. I have a Parents/Teacher conference on Saturday to prepare for…for the class where I work with the little boy. I will be talking to the parents about how he did this Summer in the class. It would so not be a big deal, except my professor will be sitting in there grading me. Then Sunday I have a bridal shower to go to. I also have a paper to write that is due next Monday and finish the paperwork for my conference, which that paperwork is also due on Monday. I also have my other class to worry about, but I did that homework last night, so I just need to take the quiz and turn in my homework. I will be done with these classes on July 31st. I go back to work on August 14th, so I have a couple of weeks. I think I have a lot going on though even then, doctor’s appointments for Joshua and Joshua’s birthday. I could just cry. I just need a break. The classes I am taking this Fall are supposedly easy…so says my advisor, so hopefully I will not have so much homework because I will be working. I definitely think I will try to only do one class in the Spring. Oh and someone asked when I would be done with classes. I am getting certified to be a teacher, so I am having to take 72 hours going part time. It will take a couple more years. I do have a degree, but the classes I took have nothing to do with education, so all that counted were my general education classes.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know why I didn’t get to visit and I am sure I will not be able to visit next weekend, but hopefully soon ok, I promise I will be by before school starts back at the pre-school. My kids start back August 18th and that is when Joshua starts back too. Have a nice week.

I have been super busy with homework this week. I do not have much time left with my classes, only 2 weeks, so I am starting to get my Final papers started and of course I also have my regular homework I am trying to do. I am ready for this to be over. It has been a busy summer. I will not complain though, last Summer was so much worse.
We had a wonderful time with Tammy last weekend. Her girls are so pretty and getting so big. They are so sweet, I wish I could see them more often. Joshua had a great time with them too.
I think Joshua and I are going to get together with Adriane this weekend and see her dog Maisie. Joshua loves dogs, and Maise is so cute, she is a Yorkie, so pretty.
We watched Greatest American Dog last night and Burn Notice.
Today we rest and I may do some typing on my paper, no big deal there. I will be by to visit soon. Have a wonderful weekend!!

It was a busy week. I had 2 quizzes and 2 projects due this week for my online class, which I got done by Wednesday and I had my class with the little boy I work with all week. I was so happy to come home Thursday and put an end to the school week. I got online to look at the message board for my online class and the teacher had decided the homework for last week was given too soon and she wanted to give us the chance to do it over. We had more homework and more lectures that cleared up the activity for last week. This was the homework that made no sense to me. I wrote about it last week. Anyway, I am having company this weekend, so I didn’t think I would be able to do it over, but I sat down last night and got it done. I feel better about it, but I do not think it is completely right. It is hard homework. It is too hard to explain. Anway, I re-did it and I will get it turned in. I hope my grade will be ok.
Do you guys remember Miss Tammy? If you have been reading my blog for a while, you will remember, but it was Joshua’s pre-school teacher, and I was her daughter’s babysitter (Sofie). I basically have the job she had before she left. She is visiting this weekend and I am so excited. She and her husband, Sofie and her other daughter Sara will be coming to our house at 2:30 on Saturday to visit as well as another friend that we used to work with…Paula. Paula is the friend that is the social worker that I almost went to work with a couple of years ago and instead took the teaching job at the pre-school. We will visit and then Paula has a meeting to go to for church and the rest of us will go to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner and to visit more. I am looking forward to it.
I have to clean house today and get the house ready for company. It is a mess. I will probably not be able to visit this weekend. I hope you all are doing great and have a nice weekend and week ahead!! I hope to be able to visit next Friday.

We had a nice day yesterday. We grilled hotdogs and lit fireworks with Joshua here at our house. I was able to get my homework finished and typed, I just need to turn it in. We also watched a baseball game on tv- St. Louis Cardinals vs. Chicago Cubs. It was a gorgeous day. It was sunny and only in the low 70’s. I think the weather is supposed to be the same today and then it is supposed to get hot again.
The neighbors lit really loud fireworks all day, so Mandy was hidden most of the day. I hope it is more quiet today.
Today I need to get my papers together for classes next week and print off homework papers for next week also. I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July!!!

Happy 4th of July to those visiting from the U.S.!!! Karl, Joshua and I are staying home this year. Karl says he does not want to get out this year, so that is ok and we can be here with Mandy for the fireworks. I am sure she will be scared.
The week went fast. I have been trying to work on my homework for my online class. I did good on my quizzes earlier this week, I got A’s and once I did those I started working on the homework. I kind of have it done, but I am not sure if it is right. I am going to work on it some more today. I work a little each day, and I say my prayers for God to give me clarity and wisdom. It seems to work because I sat down one night and just started writing the answers and it seemed to make sense. The more I got to looking at it though the more I am not sure. Anyway, I will go over it more today.
I better get going. I am sure we will do something fun today at some point. Have a great day!!

Karl had a nice birthday. I was able to get out of the toddler area at church earlier than normal…I usually have to stay 30 minutes later to wait for a volunteer parent…and we went and had a nice lunch. Then we came home and he relaxed and played his new game. I did laundry, rested a bit and cleaned house.
I was also able to listen to my lecture for this week for my online class and print out some practice homework pages. We have some hard homework this week. I do not understand it at all. I am just going to have to sit and go over the pages over and over and hope it clicks. I will have to pray about it.
Today I am off to my class at the college for swimming and the lecture is today also. That will take up most of the day, so I will not do much homework tonight. I will start with that tomorrow again. I hope you have a great week and if I do not get back on here, have a wonderful 4th of July!!

Today is Karl’s birthday!! Happy Birthday Karl!! We are going to church and then we plan to go and have a nice lunch for his birthday. He said he wants bbq, so that sounds wonderful, I am excited. Karl got a video game for his X-Box and a book for his birthday from me and Joshua and he got some money from his parents. They also called this morning to wish him a Happy Birthday.
When we get back home I have to do laundry and clean the house.
Ok, so Friday I was debating on whether to do homework or to relax this weekend. I did not get any homework done at all. I just relaxed and took a break. I think I kind of needed that. I am refreshed and ready to jump back in to my studies now. I doubt if I have time to do anything today, but maybe on Tuesday. Monday is my long day. I go swimming, then straight to lecture.
We had 5 1/2 inches of rain here at our house yesterday. There were towns with 8 inches that were flooding. This has happened so many times this year. These towns that flood are on rivers or near the lakes and get flooded everytime we have a big rain. I was worried when it rained so hard all day yesterday that it might be flooding in some communities and it did. I saw they were doing water rescues on the news last night. We are safe here in our town, the grass just gets soggy.
Joshua and I watched the Finale of Groomer Has It last night on Animal Planet. Congratulations to Artist!!
Well, I better get the day started, it is going to be a busy one.
